Rpg advocate rpg maker 20036/12/2023 regardless, due the each title's EULA, both his patches are completely illegal. RPG Maker Advocate's site is not a trustworthy source of information on anything he's been involved in, as he rewrites history and fails to mention any of the horrible things he's been involved with, like the invasions of 'rival' RPG Maker sites. It was XP that he released a patch for, which was then used by people to release a fully translated pirated version of the software. ![]() Also, RPG Maker Advocate released RPG Maker 2003, and even tried blackmailing enterbrain about it ('announce a localization by such and such a date, or I'll release it'). ![]() SaderBiscut 21:50, 19 February 2007 (UTC) Both RPG Maker 2003 and RPG Maker XP's EULA declare that any modifications to the software are prohibited, so even releasing a patch is illegal. I removed the 'based off the illegal English distribution' as it adds no useful point to the article, it only puts the patch in a negative light. Also are things like this 'and even when it is, an unofficial patch based off the illegal English distribution exists which can bump most limits much higher at the risk of potential game corruption.' really needed? I don't think so.
